* Appendix to 2010 Clarksville Speedway Rules

 

Pure Mini

Body:                Stock/Front and Rear after market ok

Cam:                      Engine will need to pull 16 inches minimum of vacuum at 1200 rpm.

                                Must provide vacuum source at intake or base of carburetor.

Carburetor:          One or two barrel or factory fuel injected, throttle body type.

Chassis:               Stock 4 point cage – 3 door bars on driver side

Engine:                  Stock for car. (NO TURBO AND ALL WHEEL DRIVES)

Crate Motor:        None

Engine Setback: None

Car clamed:          $1000.00 and will swap cars. Must be running at end of race, and must be in top 5 to do so.  All goes

                                But seat and seat belts.

Fire Suit:               Recommended

Flywheel:              Stock

Fuel Cell:              Must be secure with metal strapping and protected by a roll cage.

Headers:              Cast iron. Factory header only

Heads:                  Stock

Ignition:                 Stock

Rear End:             Stock

Roof Height:        42 inches minimum measurement at (10 inches back from windshield) in center of the roof.

Stabilizer Bar:     Stock

Transmission:     Stock

Spoiler:                 Stock

Tires:                     Maximum 8 inches – Any DOT tire.  Grooving allowed.

Shocks:                                Stock or racing in stock location.

Weight:                  None

Weight Jacks:     None

Wheel Base:        Stock

Wheels:                 8 inch maximum.  Bead locks on right side only.

Skirt:                 Okay    

Front Wheel Dr:      Okay

Fuel:                            Racing gas okay. No alcohol.

Fire Extinguisher:    Mandatory

Springs:                Racing or stock in stock location.

Window Net:        Optional

Mufflers:               Optional unless made to use by the city

Seatbelts:             No older than 3 years.

Brakes;              stock  

Street Stock

Body:                     Stock. After Market. Nose and bumper covers okay .must have fire wall. In close cockpit ok.

 

Cam:                      No roller cams or roller rockers, but roller tip rockers acceptable. Hydraulic cams and hydraulic lifters

Only, Max cam Lift .480 at the valve, but will check at push rod.(1.5 rocker will be .320 max, 1.6 rocker will be .300 max, 1.7 will be .280 and so on. .

 

Carburetor:          Two or four barrel.

 

Chassis/A-Arms: Stock/ Upper A- Arm can be Tube aftermarket but non adj. must be in stock location.

 

Engine:                  Cast iron block in stock location. GM 350 or smaller cid with number to be verified at track, Max boring

                              On block will be .065.  No stroking of 350 motor, stroking on smaller cid ok.  Can run ford, Pontiac or

 Other make of stock production motor ok if comparable to 350 sizes. Hydraulic lifter protest will be $60 to pull intake and check for proper lifter. Street Stock Class CID Protest will be $250 to pull head; Track keeps $50 for time any out come. Any party found illegal under the protest policy forfeits all prize money AND points for the night except show up points and will start in the rear next time they are here. 602 crate motor ok (362 CID IS THE BIGGEST MOTOR YOU CAN HAVE)

Engine Setback: None.  Must be in stock location,   #1 plug must line up with ball joint after race.

Engine Claim:      $550.00 +exchange of engine and 50.00 for tow truck.  Claim do not include: flywheel, clutch, pressure

                             Plate, bell housing, headers, carburetor, starter, fan & pulleys, motor mount, sending units and switches

                             For oil pressure and water temperature, carburetor adaptor, clutch ball, clutch arm, throw out bearing,

                             Dip stick, water pump, distributor, plug wires or fuel pump.  See stock car rules for more info…

Rear End:             Factory type.  Floaters OK. No quick change. Sliders okay. Adjustable Lowering block ok. Aftermarket

                                trailing arms are ok not to be adjustable at the track must be welded up. No W-five hubs.

 

Roof Height:        48 inches minimum measurement at (10 inches back from windshield) in center of the roof.

 

Stabilizer Bar:     Stock/ No chains or aftermarket stabilizer bar

 

Transmission:     Stock, but must have forward and reverse.

 

Spoiler:                 Stock / if aftermarket 6 in max

 

Tires:                     Optional

 

Shocks:                Stock or racing in stock location. One per wheel, no heim-joint unless stock with car.

 

Weight:                  3200 lbs. Track has right to add 50 or 100 lbs per wrong item

 

Weight Jacks:     None

 

Wheel Base:        Stock

 

Wheels:                 10 inch maximum. Steel wheel only. NO aluminum.  Wide fives wheel ok. Bead locks okay.

Skirt:                      OK

·         After winning five races, (not necessarily in a row) intake will be pulled and lifter will be removed and given to official for inspection.
