The Clarksville Speedway drag strip hosted another weekend of racing this past Friday. Four different classes competed, with the super pro, trophy, foot brake, and street classes taking to the strip. Every driver had a lot to race for with the point’s championship on the line.

July 17th Dragstrip Results
Four classes took to the drag strip on Friday, with Hunter Anderson, John Triplett, Allen Wood, and Jimmy Bannister Jr. each winning their respective class. The drivers faced stiff competition in the final round, only to outlast everyone.

Leon Robertson defeats Jason Lynch to take home the $10,000 footbrake win on Friday, May 15th. Robertson posted a winning speed of 93.95 mph, beating over 50 other drivers.

May 15 Dragstrip Results
The Footbrake, Sportman’s Street, and the Street Trophy classes got back into action on Friday, May 15th. The field was comprised of a grand total of 78 drivers. The footbrake class had the most drivers competing because they were all hoping to claim the $10,000 prize awarded to the winner at the end.

The rain managed to hold off on Friday, May 9th as the footbrake, street trophy, and sportsmen’s street classes got to take their cars to the Clarksville Speedway Drag Strip. Speeds topped 110 mph during time trials and kept that pace during the races.
