Drag Strip Races

Drag Strip Racing
Sunny skies and warm temperatures greeted the crowd at the drag strip which is part of the Clarksville StormPay.Com Speedway. Mother Nature with her rain showers cancelled drags on Friday night; which, was suppose to be the first night for points.
Drags were made up on Sunday afternoon and in the Street Class division where 6 cars competed against each other with the final round being against #426 Billy Kinnard going against #79 of Janet Mulderink with Kinnard taking the first place in the drag.
The other division that dragged on Sunday afternoon was the Pro-Footbrake division where 14 cars competed against each other with #3334 Charlie Lavender taking on #7070 John Perry with Lavender in his 1969 Dodge Superbee taking the win.
Points racing will begin this Friday night, unless the weather causes a cancellation and if that happens, the decision has been made that the drag will not be made up.
