Duane Hodges: This Crate Is Never late

Coming out of Cunningham Tennessee is the driver of the #117 race car; Duane Hodges is tearing up the dirt oval in the Crate Late Model division at the Clarksville StormPay.Com Speedway.  Duane has been racing in the Crate division for 3 years now; however, he has also raced a couple of years in the Street division back in 2000 and raced Go-Carts.  While racing in the Street and Crate divisions, Duane has always raced at the Clarksville Speedway; in fact, you can say he “grew up” here.  Duane’s father has been involved with racing in Clarksville for 20 years and he use to come with his father when he was young.  Growing up, Duane really didn’t care that much for racing on the dirt oval but that all changed once he first climbed into a vehicle and took off racing, which explains why his childhood racing hero was his father.  Duane’s current racing machine is a 2003 Larry Shaw race car with a Crate engine.  Sponsorship of this race car mainly deals with all involved with Duane’s racing career, with Duane, for the last 5 years, has driven for his father.  When Duane was asked what he would like the fans at the Clarksville StromPay.Com Speedway to know about him, his response was “I don’t like cheaters!!”
