With sky clear and temp of 77 and extra money in Crate Model, Pro Street, Street, Mini Mod, Open Wheel, Pure Mini. We kick off the night with qualifying with Rusty Griffaw (33) picking up the Fast time in the Late Model class with a 13.152 time, Crate Late Model time was 13.456 and Carnell Parker 111 (75), next up was the Open Wheel and fast time was sat by Randle Sweeney (182) with a 13.840, and last to come out was Pro Street showing the way was Joseph Hamm (J3) with a 14.476.
Late Model Dash winner Rusty Griffaw (33) heat winners on the night were James Breden (711), Joseph Lingauer (28). Open Wheel dash winner was Randle Sweeney (182) and heat winner Mike Sweeney (25s). Mini Sprint winners were Jarrett Cathey (98c), Joshua Clark (12), Street Stock winners were Dale Phillips (87) and Mike Neighbors (7) along with Don Everett (9). Pure Mini winner were Mike Rittenberry (10), his brother Jeff Rittenberry (T3) and Joe Wall (2).
After the dust settled from the kids foot race during intermission it was time for the show of the night (feature time) Mini Mods show the way first with Adam Wright (66) showing the way in the 12 lap race with (20) Danny Taylor in 2nd. Next up $1000 to Crate Late Model on laps 6 Charles Zimmerman (93) pass Carnell Parker to take the lead and never look back then the battle for second was with Parker and Eddie Pace with Parker taking second and Pace taking the next spot. Pro Street was next to see the race track with numerous caution Joseph Ham (J3) getting the win with Neal Grisham (J77). Coming in 2nd place. Next out of the box was the Street Stock and with new motor rules putting the cars side by side with Dale Phillips (87) picking up the win with Mike Neighbors (7) coming in the number two spot. Late Models came up next with lots of excitement and finishing first was Rusty Griffaw (33) and following right behind was Perry Delaney (753). Open Wheel was next on the list showing the way were Randle Sweeney (182) and Clayton Miller (15) coming in 2nd. Mini Sprint winners were Matt Baker (5) and 2nd went to (12) Josh Clark. Last of the night would see the Pure Mini class show the way with (10) Mike Rittenberry coming home with the win and (T3) Jeff Rittenberry coming in the runner up spot.
Next week the gate will open at 4:00 pm and hot laps will go off at 5:30 with racing action by 8:00 pm. With a 2000 to win Mini Sprint spectacular The gate price will be $18.00 for Adults and 6-10 will be $5.00, children 5 and under will be free along with all Senior over 70. So come on out and have some fun on the red dirt.
