Factory Stock Rules 2024 ( Up Dated on 3-1-24)

  1. All make and model cars (NO Sports Cars)
  2. All v6 and v8 cars allowed. Weight on V 8 cars and V 6 rear wheels drive 3200. Front Wheel Drive V6 will Be 3300 all weight will have to be added to the rear of the car…
  3. NO MIRRORS
  4. Allowed to run rubber nose and tail (NO Wedge Noses)
  5. Role Cages ok but nothing in front of the radiator
  6. Racing Seat, Fuel Cell, Belts and Window net ok
  7. Must have factory firewall front and back and factory floor pan.
  8. Steering Column can be replaced with rod and pop off steering wheel.
  9. Must have factory body but can be replaced with factory steal body. NO aluminum of fiberglass bodies.
  10. Engines must be stock and must have come in the car of that year.
  11. Engine options #2 Only this carte Motor 357 Quicksilver with a 4 Barrell 650 cfm
  12. Motors can run aluminum radiators and pulleys, stock motors that came out in the year and make of the car. Can NOT change out cam MUST run factory manifolds or headers.  No set back engines must be in stock position. Racing value covers, or stock is OK.
  13. Carburetor 2 Barrel or 4 Barrel, you can swap intake (Stock intake no high rise) (no more than a 1″ Spacer) and run up to a 600-cfm carburetor on V-8 must pass no go gauge.
  14. Suspension NO Racing springs or shocks, no bucket upper springs or lowering blocks for leaf springs. No aftermarket a-frames stock ONLY.  No 9in Ford rear ends unless it came out in the car.
  15. Any 8” wheel. STREET TIRES and H500, will be able to run bead lock on right side only.
  16. Studs and lug nuts can be changed.
  17. Tube Upper are ok.
  18. Can run spoiler no bigger than 6in tall.
  19. Can weld rear end for POS.
  20. THIS SHOULD BE A FUN AND CHEAP CLASS
  21. Payout is the same as Pure Street

 

COMPRESSION NOT TO EXCEED 180 LBS. 362 cubic inches max.

NO 400’s. Max cylinder bore allowed is 4.060”. No stroking or destroking allowed. Stroke must be GM 3.480, Ford 3.500. Stock 5.7 factory production style rods.

Cast Pistons only, maybe Hypereutectic- 4 valve relief Must be factory cut.

NO grinding or fly cutting of relief.

Pistons must stay flush with or below the top of the block. Stock cast iron heads, oem, vortechs ok, NO dart or boetie etc Max valve 1.94 intake, 1.50 exhaust.

Screw in studs or pinned studs allowed, guide plates allowed. No milling inside chambers, each chamber must have a 62 cc minimum volume. Stock style rocker arms only 1.5 ratio; no roller or roller tips. Poly locks permitted.

Cast iron or aluminum dual plane Intake, may be drilled for vortech heads No polishing, porting or match porting anywhere.

OEM Manifolds, or HEADERS optional. No Tri-y, 180’s

Any hydraulic or solid cam with a maximum of .480” valve lift and stock style lifters. No High vacuum, solid or roller lifters are allowed. No roller Cam’s. Balancing of engine is permitted.

Factory forged cast-iron or steel crankshaft with OEM factory casting numbers. No knifing. 50 lb. minimum weight.

Ignition must be factory type. Must be stock H.E.I. production distributor ignition only. No capacitive discharge ignition systems. No racing ignition systems including ignition modules and ignition coil. No MSD, Accel, Mallory, etc. ignition components except spark plug wires. May hook a RPM limiter.

Engine set back no further than No. 1 plug in line with ball joint.

May run stock oil pan, racing oil pan is optional. Any type breather and valve covers are allowed
